No jeans for me

Dear all,
Today we have a free topic to start with. This could refer to only ONE item in your bucket list or something else you can think of.

It will not be a long text because we will not have time.
I try to always look on the bright side of things but yesterday I got a bit depressed yesterday. I had a class cancelled so I decided to visit Costanera Center to see the “sales” to buy a new pair of jeans.  The reality shocked me. I entered a number of shops “on-sale” and the prices were crazy with the discount. Moreover, all the things looked the same.  Then I went upstairs for something to eat and the only vegetarian dish I found, which was basically a salad, cost 4 lucas.
I decided to go back home, and on the way back I really felt people are a bit mad here. The coffee shops were packed with people but the prices were so high.
If you have a lot of money, I think it is ok to spend it on anything you want.  But what I saw yesterday is that things around Providencia are extremely overpriced, From food to clothes.  And they have the nerve to tell you it is a sales price.  What I find concerning is that people do not seem to care at all.

Sorry about this text but I needed to express my frustration-

Write about something  you feel  like writing about.

  5. I have thought that too, I think that people that have the money, it's okey to spend it on whatever they want to, but some things have a price that does not show what we expect, for example i think that Starbucks is overrated, people mostly use it for image, to take pictures and that's all.
